Horseshoe Bend Overlook Drive Description

Located just south of Page Arizona, off Hwy 98, this short loop drive is perfect for a quick outing or can be combined with another Big 5 trail for a longer adventure. The views from this mesa are superb, offering abundant photographic opportunities. You will find spectacular views of Horseshoe Bend, the City of Page and Navajo Mountain. Its proximity to Page means you can easily visit when the light and nature align. On the western side of the mesa, there’s a fun little amphitheater cavern worth hiking to. Expect very deep sand on the northern approach hill; 4×4 is recommended, though an experienced driver might manage with an AWD vehicle with good clearance—proceed with caution.
