Glen Canyon Dam Overlook

Located within the city limits of Page Arizona, this is a short, easy trail gets you overlooking Glen Canyon Dam and the mighty Colorado River.

Glen Canyon Waterfall

A wonderful trail from the Dam Overlook parking lot that follows a water sculpted sandstone wash to the edge of Glen Canyon. The wash produces a sheer waterfall that cascades down the seven hundred foot cliffs when it rains.

Car Canyon – Honey Draw

This very odd, half mile out and back hike behind the Maverick & Wall Mart gets you to an old bulldozed dump of 1950’s era rusted cars in Honey Draw Canyon. 

Carl Hayden Visitor Center

Not a “hike”, but no visit is complete without immersing and educating yourself in this fantastic visitor center. It never gets old, marveling on the magnitude of human ingenuity and the power of nature.

Horseshoe Bend Hike

One of the most iconic hikes on planet earth.  Perfectly groomed trails lead you to one of the most jaw dropping panoramas the Colorado River can produce.

Navajo Bridge

An absolute must stop if you are in the area. A super easy and convenient way to take in the historic Navajo Bridge that spans Marble Canyon. 

Lees Ferry Road Hoodoos

Not a hike per se but a nice spot to pull over and meander around a couple of precariously balanced rocks (hoodoos). 

Secret Beach

A moderate one mile out and back hike from the Paria Riffle Parking area to a quiet beach on the Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park.

Paria Riffle

Not really a hike but a stroll on the silky smooth sands of the Colorado River serenaded by cascading water within Grand Canyon National Park.

Lonely Dell Ranch

A well maintained historical hike through cabins, buildings, an orchard and the remains of the days when Lees Ferry was the only crossing of the Colorado River for hundreds of miles.
