~ GET READY FOR AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! ~
This one-mile Via Ferrata tour—also called an “Iron Path”—offers a thrilling mix of hiking, rock climbing, and rappelling through the stunning slot canyon.
Expert guides will help you rappel down cliffs and climb rock walls, all while taking in breathtaking canyon views. No previous climbing experience is necessary—the guides will make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. They provide all the gear, including helmets, harnesses, gloves, and safety lanyards. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned adventurer, this tour will challenge and excite you!
Clothing?
They recommend wearing comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for easy movement. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required, but specialty climbing shoes are not necessary. Because parts of the canyon are narrow, long sleeves and pants in lightweight fabric are ideal. They’ll provide all the safety gear you need, including helmets, harnesses, gloves, and safety lanyards.
Gear?
The Via Ferrata course is narrow, making it difficult to carry extra items. They recommend leaving bags, backpacks, cameras, and water bottles behind, as there’s a risk of losing them. If you want to bring a phone, it must be securely tethered or attached to your safety gear. You can bring water, as long as your bottle is clipped to a carabiner.
Cameras and photos during the tour?
They don’t recommend bringing cameras, as carrying items is challenging. You can take photos at the start of the tour before the first rappel. Your guide will also take some photos during the tour, which will be available for download afterward.

What level of adventure is involved?
The tour includes rappelling up to 70 feet, climbing metal rungs, and moving through narrow passages as tight as 12 inches. If you’re afraid of heights or confined spaces, this may not be the best experience for you.
Do I need climbing experience?
No prior climbing or rappelling experience is needed. Your guides will assist with safety gear and provide an orientation on all necessary safety procedures. They recommend the tour for children ages 9 and up, as they must be able to use the safety gear independently.
What fitness level is required?
Some of the canyon passages are narrow and may be difficult for larger individuals. If you have any health concerns, they recommend consulting with your doctor before booking the tour.
