Toadstools Hoodoos Hike Description

The Toadstool Hoodoos, located between Kanab, UT, and Page, AZ, are a captivating collection of rock formations renowned for their distinctive toadstool shapes. This easy 1.8-mile round trip hike leads to these fascinating hoodoos, where towering spires with wide, mushroom-like caps create a surreal landscape. The trail, which traverses through soft sand and exposed terrain, offers scenic views of the surrounding Kaibab Monocline and Paria Plateau. The hoodoos themselves stand out with their whimsical shapes and striking colors, making them a favorite spot for photography. The area is sun-drenched with no shade, so come prepared for the heat and bring plenty of water. Dogs are allowed on leash, and there are basic porta-potties at the trailhead for convenience

This hike can be combined with several other hikes in the area such as Catstair Canyon, Maze rock, and Resurrection Canyon to make for an outstanding day.
